Maths Whizz

Today in our maths lesson we worked in pairs to assess and reinforce our learning of measures over the last week. 

We used a programme called Maths Whizz and the children loved it!

Magic Potions

Yesterday in maths year one made magic potions for fairies and wizards. We used cubes to measure the correct amount of liquid and added it to our potion.

Year 1 trip to Penrith park

Today year 1 visited Penrith park in Hainault. Our main aim was to observe the seasonal change of the trees at this time of year. We collected lots of leaves to help us with our tree drawings when we got back to school.

We also had time for a little play in the park too! We all had a really lovely morning!
