We were very lucky to have a surprise visit from Kimmy's Zoo ! We got to learn all about different animals , where they live and what they eat to survive . We also got to hold and stroke lots of animals . We saw a skunk , a snake , an armadillo , an Indian stick insect , a millipede , a sugar glider , a tree frog and a tortoise . We have been learning all about different types of measurement . Week 1 - we were measuring length , width and height in mm , cm and m . We also worked out how long a km was by looking at local maps ! Week 2 - we were measuring mass using weighing scales . We were measuring items in g & km . Week 3 - We have been measuring capacity and volume in ml & l . Here are some pictures of us having a go at measuring !
