Celebrating home school learning 2 - Y4C

Welcome, Parents/carers and children.
I wanted to share some of the work I have been receiving via emails from parents and say a huge well done to all the children.  I am so very proud of the work that I am receiving. I have received videos too and it's great to see your smiling faces.  I can see how much you are growing too. Hopefully, we should be together in the near future, but in the meantime, keep safe and keep working super hard.  Here are some pictures of the work that your peers have been sharing...

Ariana - your work on multiplication was amazing!  You are becoming more confident in applying the knowledge you are learning.  Well done!

Jabaar - Your work on tenses was very good, keep up the practice!  Well done!

Jasmin - learning life skills like making Pizzas is a very important skill, you did a great job!  Can I to dinner?

Celebrating Home Schooling Achievements

Good morning children and parents/carers.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for the amazing work that I have been receiving.  I know it's a difficult time but wanted to celebrate all your hard work.  I have loved receiving all your work and lovely messages and look forward to them daily.  I am very proud of how you all are handling these difficult times and couldn't be prouder of you all.  I wanted to share some of the work I have received and celebrate the efforts all you children have been putting in.

It's lovely to hear your thoughts Azmina on these difficult times that we are facing.  It's strange how we miss all those wonderful experiences and how much we miss each other.

It's lovely to see you enjoying the weather too Charlie, we have been lucky with the sunshine so enjoy!  It's not all home schooling, there is the element of enjoying the sun with a splash!

I really enjoyed your Ananse story Denis.  I am very proud of your writing. Keep it up.

Your rocket was super cool Jake, I love the colours and can imagine you shooting off into the sky in it!

I am so proud of the rainbow art you have created Jessica.  A beautiful thank you to the hardworking NHS and key workers.

Lastly to Khadijah, thank you for the lovely card.  I miss you all too.  I cannot wait to see you all when this is over.

These are just a few examples of work I wanted to celebrate but I am proud of you all.  I would love to share everyone's work but it's not possible; however, I will be posting work from the rest of you every week and saying WELL DONE.

Let's now take a look at Joris' time at home - It looks like you're working very hard Joris, and enjoying some time in the fresh air with your brother!

Finally, Llara has been unleashing her creative side and has drawn some fantastic drawings, including a beautiful mandala from her RE lesson. Great job, Llara!

Garden project for PSHE

We have been learning how to achieve our goals through project work.  We have been working as part of a group to design a garden ornament from design, to planning, instructing how to make it and gaining the resources.  Then finally creating our garden object.  We learnt some very good skills like teamwork, resilience, sharing and compromising on resources.  Here are some of our pictures of us in the process and then showing our finished garden ornaments.
