This half term we have been learning a story called Pirate Tom . We have been learning the story through a story map . We have made up our own actions & drawings to help us remember it . Ask us to retell the story to you ... we could even teach you !

Pirate Day ... ARGHHHHH ME HEARTIES!!!

Pirate day was an amazing day in Year 2 ! We all had fantastic costumes on and had a day full of pirate fun !

Outdoor Maths - Number Hunt !

In Maths in Year 2 we have been focusing on number and place value . We have been identifying the value of each digit in 2 & 3 digit numbers . Here we are having a number hunt in our outdoor area .We had to find the numbers , order them from smallest to largest and identify the value of each digit!

Apologies for the delay in setting up our blog but we are now up and officially blogging ! So far this year both myself & Miss Silver have been so impressed with how well our children have settled back into school and life in Year 2 .
